This is a great activity for English language learners! These 27 Pronunciation Mazes work well as an assessment, a cool-down activity, or for early finishers! The challenge is to connect the words with the same ending sounds in a maze-like fashion.
These Maze Puzzles address three areas of pronunciation for ESL learners: past tense, third-person singular verbs, and noun plurals. Each includes a word bank of 60 words, nine puzzles (color & black and white), plus answer keys.
The zip file includes three pdf files:
- Past tense verbs: /d/, /t/, and /id/ e.g., called, jumped and lifted
