From 1988 through 2013, twin brothers, Robert and Donald Kinney, collaborated to create a body of video art that has been presented in solo and group exhibitions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Robert and Donald are recipients of residency awards and grants from the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio, and the Lynn Blumenthal Memorial Fund for Independent Video in New York. Their works have been featured in Queer Looks (Routledge Press, 1993), The Advocate, and the New York Video Quarterly, Felix. The Kinneys have presented discussions about their collaborations for conference panels at the College Art Association (CAA) in New York, The Society for Photographic Education (SPE) in Chicago, and Frameline in San Francisco.
All works by the Kinney brothers are distributed by V Tape in Toronto, Canada.
